PresidentDave Bartelt is the president and FL state GC license holder of PEAK Contractors, Inc, a multi-family renovation company located in Tampa, Florida. As president, Dave Bartelt provides multi-family clients trade knowledge and renovation experience that align with their strategic plans. He infuses a hands-on approach to achieve quality, open communication and long-term relationships, which have led PEAK to multiple nominations for Apartment Vendor of the Year. Dave is an avid fisherman and passionate about evolving the multi-family renovation industry.
Operations ManagerGary Spaw joined the PEAK team in April 2018. Gary is a seasoned veteran, with (30) years’ experience in the construction Industry. He utilizes the skills & Techniques obtained from the many construction projects he has managed over the years. This includes New, High end construction, Additions & Renovations. And managing the logistics of working in occupied building conditions. He implements the same high standards and expectations of past high-quality projects for our Multi-Family clients. He promotes a “Punch as you Go” philosophy, in an effort to ensure that we are complete and punched out, prior to moving to the next building. Gary mentors and spreads this proven successful philosophy with the staff and crew members at Peak Contractors to ensure all projects are completed on time and with the highest quality result. Gary also has a mechanical background which enhances the depth of his knowledge of construction. In his spare time, he likes working on customizing, and making high performance modifications to his and his Son’s Ford Mustangs. Also likes attending sporting events, with his wife, pulling for the local teams, The Bucs, Lightning, and Rays.
Senior Project ManagerWilmer Mata joined the PEAK team in February of 2015 with more than 15 years of construction and renovation experience. As a dedicated construction professional, Wilmer manages Central Florida project renovations and quality assurance. Wilmer is fluent in English and Spanish, and has earned multiple academic degrees. He earned his Masters of Science in Industrial Engineering from University of Central Florida, holds a Quality Assurance and Project Engineering graduate certificates, and Florida Board of Professional Engineers Engineering Intern. Wilmer enjoys traveling, and resides in Kissimmee, FL with his wife and sons.span>
Account ManagerHunter Stone joined the PEAK team in February of 2015 with more than 5 years experience in the Multi-Family community. Hunter works with Community Managers and Maintenance Supervisors to provide renovation and repair service requests. Early in Hunter’s career, he was nominated for “BAAA Sales Associate Rookie of the Year”. Hunter graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree and resides in Tampa, FL with his wife Marisa and their daughter Elliott.
Office ManagerKarla Aceves brings expertise in accounting, management and customer service that has provided a foundation for her success here at PEAK. She manages multiple platforms and accounting, as well as project documentation. Karla is a Notary Public, and fluent in English and Spanish. She resides in Tampa, FL with her husband and children.
Account ManagerDavid Stellato joined the Peak team in May 2018. I was born in West Haven Connecticut. He worked part time for his Father’s Construction Business, Stellato Home Improvement. I moved to Florida to attend the University of Tampa. I worked in Hospitality to help pay my way through what academic scholarships did not cover and graduated with Honors in December of 2001 proceeded with my love for food and left the Hospitality Industry as The Executive Chef of Gallagher’s Steak House Channelside Tampa when the Economic Crash of 2007 closed the doors of many restaurants across the nation including Gallagher’s. Shortly there-after I became self-after to ensure I could be an active Father to my New Born Son, Ethan. As a private business owner, I was able to build a network of clients contracting myself as an Estimator,
Project Manager or Sales Representative for their business to other clients in need of their services in
both New and Remodel Construction.
